Starring Cho Jinwoong and Lee Hanee, <Black Money> (directed by Chung Jiyoung) took the first place in the Korean box office for eight days in a row.
<Black Money> has reached almost 1.4 million cumulative moviegoers since it first premiered on November 13th. It is building a record faster than the previous film of director Chung Jiyoung, <Unbowed>, which recruited a total of 3.4 million moviegoers.
<Black Money> is about an obstinate prosecutor, Yang Minhyuk (Cho Jinwoong), who falls into the trouble because the suspect he was investigating commits suicide. Then, he faces an inside story of financial irrationality.
In a film, Cho played a stubborn prosecutor, Minhyuk, who does everything for the investigation. And Lee took the role of Nari, an international trade lawyer with cold-blooded decisiveness.
Based on a true story, <Black Money> is receiving favorable reviews from critics and viewers through its message and performance of actors.
